Timer Shaped Ceiling Panels
The culmination of 30 years of product development in New Zealand has resulted in SWURVE® prefinished curved timber panels and SWURVE® curved timber strips adding a new dimension to interior environments.
The selected timber is steam-impregnated with natural atomized ingredients drawn from the air to modify the timbers’ cell structure and enable the curving process. After an initial pre-bending process shapes are made permanent in drying press jigs, which extract inherent and free moisture. The whole process takes approximately six minutes per cycle enabling large quantities of each shape to be made for projects.
SWURVE® curved panels are available in a standard range of four shapes with double sided veneered plywood as a substrate. SWURVE® curved slats are available in solid timber in the same four shapes.
